From our local paper but it affects non-locals in that it is their taxes too.

I don't know whether to call it "crony capitalism" or what but the Feds are going to spend a half billion dollars so that the "economically disadvantaged" can get some cheap, or free, internets. "Economically diadvantaged" may mean something else outside the mid-south but here it means "black folks".
